WATCHET Town will be looking to complete the season's double over Westfield when they play away against their rivals in Division One of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League this afternoon (Sat).

The seasiders, lying fifth in the table despite their unlucky 3-2 home defeat to Ashton & Backwell last weekend, beat Westfield 3-0 at home when the sides met at the beginning of the season.

"We had six players out against Ashton and I'm hoping at least some of them will be back in contention this weekend," said Nick Sully, a member of the club's three-man management committee."

Watchet, however, have doubts over the fitness of centre backs Eben Harding and Ali Harrison who sustained injuries against Ashton.

The result against Ashton was particularly disappointing as Watchet lost out to a late, disputed penalty.

"I couldn't quite see the incident but the lads say it was definitely not a penalty," added Sully.

Meanwhile, some of Minehead's officials took the opportunity to watchet Ashton against Watchet because their match was called off last weekend. Ashton are the visitors to Irnham Road today.

Ashton beat Minehead 4-1 at home at the end of October and will be looking to complete the double over the opposition.
