THE 2026/27 Minehead & District Snooker League season is officially underway, with all four opening-week matches now completed.
Watchet Esplanade made an excellent start, securing a 3–1 away victory over Watchet RBL A and finishing the week at the top of the early table.
All Minehead Social Club teams were in action. Minehead Social Club C defeated Minehead Social Club B 3–1, while Minehead Social Club A recorded a 3–1 victory over Old Cleeve.
The week’s closest contest took place at Dunster, where Dunster and Dulverton shared the points in a 2–2 draw.
Nine breaks over 20 were recorded during the opening week, with Robert Yaw setting the early high-break target at an impressive 47.
