THE Premier League programme in the Watchet & District Skittles League concluded this week leaving just the Front Pin semi-finals to be played next week, writes league secretary Alan Bulpin.

In a tightly fought match All Stars fell to only their fifth defeat of the season, losing by just two pins. The home side’s Andy Milton with 115 topped the alley; Dan Gilpin led the Steamers scoring with 108.

Bottoms Up Brandon Walsh capped a fine season, hitting a creditable 113 on the Wyndham alley as they ran out 43 pin winners over Castaways, Clive Penfold scoring 102.

With all six players scoring a 104 or more led by Ian Clapp with 120 Allsorts cruised to a comfortable 85 pin success over Phoenix Knights, Connor Jeromson led their scoring with 113.

Q C Guys’ Mark Willis topped the alley with 106 in the 74 pin defeat of Has Beens, Stuart Mitcham top for the Beens with 97.
