MINEHEAD Barbarians’ head coach Mick Orton says his side will approach tomorrow’s away game against bottom side Crewkerne in Somerset Premier the ‘same as any other’.

Crewkerne have not won in 19 starts this season, and Orton said: “We go into it full-bore. As much as they are struggling we need to get back on track. Nothing changes from our point of view.”

Minehead will be without stand-off Joel Lynch, who could be sidelined for some time through injury, while experienced prop Dave Swann has been having twice-weekly treatment and could make himself available.

Minehead are fifth in the table, but have three matches in hand on fourth-placed Avon who sprang a big surprise a fortnight ago by beating 100 per cent leaders Nailsea & Blackwell.
