MINEHEAD Barbarians Under14 boys opened the 2025-26 rugby season with a home game against their counterparts from Wiveliscombe.

Captained by Harry Tucker, the Barbarians team claimed a huge victory 43-14 - thanks to some excellent team work, great try scoring and conversions gained by Finlay Penny.

The Gladiator of the Day award was presented to Billy Haller while the Barbarian of the Day went to Arthur Gell.

Girls rugby training is back underway at Minehead Barbarians and takes place on Wednesday evening between 6.30 and 7.30pm. New players are always welcome between the ages of 12 and 16 (Year 7 to Year 12) so why not go along and join the fun, learn new skills and become part of the rugby family.

MBRFC are committed to teaching the core values of rugby - Trust, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. MBRFC Colts training takes place at Ellicombe on Wednesday evenings at 7pm- new players are always welcome.
