THE Wellington Monument Race, which usually takes place in late December, will not be staged this year.

Taunton Athletic Club, which promotes the event, say 'the Race is having time out this year, but watch out for the 2024 date and details.'

The race of 6.27 miles returned last year for the first time since Covid. It has proved a popular event for both serious and fund runners in the past.
