MINEHEAD Third XI played a friendly match against Stogumber where, after winning the toss and choosing to bat, home skipper Elias Hayes led the way with 26  as the hosts made 115 all out. Pick of the bowlers were Renjeesh Krishnan who ended with an impressive 5-25, while Ben Cobb claimed 2-16. When the visitors replied Vishnu Kombath and Andy Dyer shared a second wicket partnership before the former was out for 19 after which Dyer and Ian Goodrum with 22 took Minehead close to victory,  Dyer remained steadfast to see Minehead to 118 for four, by which time he was not out 53 with eight fours and two sixes
