MINEHEAD end their season in the first division of the Uhlsport Somerset County League with two matches against Winscombe in six days.

They entertain Winscombe at Irnham Road this afternoon (Mon) and play away to the same opposition this coming Saturday.

It should be a close game today with Minehead lying tenth in the table and Winscombe 12th, with only three points separating the teams.

It brings the curtain down on another season for Minehead who started off hoping they would be in contention for promotion.

But they failed to recapture the good form they showed at the beginning of the season.
