NATIONAL Hunt trainers Philip Hobbs and Johnson White, of the Sandhill Racing Stables situated alongside the A39 at Bilbrook, Minehead, would like to celebrate their new star at the yard, with the local community . . . and holiday makers alike.

Kap Vert, ridden by Sean Houlihan, won the 2026 Coral Scottish Grand National. The 20-1 shot secured the victory at Ayr Racecourse on April 18, 2026, holding off Git Maker and ante-post favorite Kim Roque in a thrilling finish.

The yard’s new superstar, Kap Vert, will be making a special appearance at Blenheim Gardens in Minehead, on Saturday, May 30, at 2.30pm.

All are welcome to attend and congratulate and meet the team, take photos, and welcome a new celebrity into the area.

A special thank you, goes to Minehead Town Council and all concerned, in allowing the yard to use Blenheim Gardens for the celebration.
