PICTURED are the West Somerset darts team who play in the Somerset County Super League.

Players mainly come from the Watchet, Williton and Minehead leagues with a couple from the Dunkery league, and their current home venue is the Railway Inn in Williton.

The league has four divisions with six or seven teams from across the county in each division, and West Somerset are currently in Division Three, having achieved promotion two seasons ago and narrowly missing promotion to Division Two last season by just eight points.

Matches are played on a Saturday night, approximately once a month from September to June, with a minimum 12 players per team with 12 singles matches and six doubles.

One point is awarded per leg won, and a maximum of 60 legs can be won in any match with two bonus points to the winning team.

The side have played three games so far this season and won all them comfortably - 52-36 away to Bridgewater Firebirds, 58-25 away to Highbridge and this month a 53-29 win at home to Courage, from Paulton.

We topped our Division by 19 points after the 1st 2 games.
