MORE than 100 golfers played in the Saturday Stableford Competition at Oake Manor Golf Club. Jamie Tong won Division One, scoring 37 points, James Symons was second, also with 37 points, while Nick Hunt came third with 35 points.

Josh Winter won Division Two with 40 points with Peter Bailey in second place with 39 points, while James Greenhow came third, also with 39 points.

Division Three winner Philip Marsh had the best score of the day with 43 points, Daniel Payne came second with 38 points and Philip Gadd was third with 36 points.

Alex Derbridge was the runaway winner of the Sunday Stableford Competition with an incredible 49 points, Paul Munday came second with 40 points while John Symonds was third with 39 points.

Kathy Salway won the Ladies Sunday Stableford Competition with 34 points, Ros Shepherd came second with 32 points while Julie Cross was third, also with 32 points.

The Seniors Section played an ‘Order of Merit’ Stableford Competition on Monday. Mike Shaw won Division One with 39 points, Michael Latham came second with 38 points and John Phripp was third, also with 38 points.

Robert Davies won Division Two with 41 points, the best score of the day. Dave Free was second with 37 points while Peter McKellar came third, also with 37 points.

In the Ladies Stableford Competiton, Kate Foster won Division One scoring 34 points. Shane Bordier came second, also with 34 points, and Suzanne Ward was third with 32 points. Pepita Verge won Division Two scoring 39 points, the best score of the day, while Sue Corlett came second with 38 points and Patricia Frazer was third with 35 points.

The Wednesday Midweek Stableford Competition was won by Charlie Wingfield with 39 points, Sam Prior was second with 38 points and Jamie Biddiscombe was third with 37 points.
