IN THE most recent Saturday Stableford Competition at Oake ManorGolf Club, Past Captain Richard Clist was the overall winner, winning division 2 with 41 points. Second in that division was Jeremy Winter with 34 points while Rob Berry was third also with 34 points.

The first 3 players in division 1 all scored 38 points but on count back William Chinn came first with James Symons second and Club Vice Captain Jon Ball in third place.

Club Captain Richard Goodman won the Sunday Stableford Competition with 38 points while Mark Woolliscroft came second with 36 points and William Chinn was third with 35 points.

Simon Greaves won the Wednesday 9 hole Midweek Stableford Competition with 18 points , Michael Bright was second, also with 18 points, while Robin Trott was third with 17 points.

Meanwhile, Max Popham was the clear winner with a superb score of +6 match play score against the course in the previous Saturday Bogey Competition.

Andy Cooper came second with +3 while Paul Hadley Jnr was in third spot, also with +3.

Dominic Stapleton scored 38 points to win the Sunday Stableford Competition, with Simon Greaves coming second with 37 points and Michael Bright was third with 36 points.

In the Ladies Sunday Stableford Competition, Suzanne Ward continued her winning form with a top score of 34 points with Ladies Club champion Jane Clist in second place with 26 points, while Jill Loader was third, also with 26 points.

Suzanne Ward was again victorious in the Ladies Stableford Competition on Tuesday, She had the best score of the day with 32 points to win division 1, Jenny Musgrove came second with 31 points while Alison Harman was third with 31 points.

The wetter conditions over the past week or so have been affecting competitions at the club with fewer taking part.
