THE Andy Parker Trophy Medal Competition which was staged at Oake Manor Golf Club on Saturday drew a large entry.

Oliver Beynon was the winner of the trophy with a score of nett 65. Oliver won division 2, Martin Evans came second in that division with nett 68 and Rob Berry was third, also with a nett 68.

Graham Salway won division 1 with a nett 68 while Anthony Date came second, also with nett 68 and Marc Holloway was third with nett 69.

Andy Parker was the Junior Organiser at Oake Manor Golf Club for a number of years and his family presented the Andy Parker Trophy in his memory to raise money to sponsor junior golf.

Connor Perry won the Sunday Stableford Competition at Oake Manor, scoring 38 points with Alexander Pearson in second place, also with 38 points, while Alan Bowey came in third with 36 points.

In the Ladies Sunday Stableford Competition, last year’s Ladies Captain Daphne Priddy was the clear winner with 36 points, with Kathryn Salway coming in second place with 34 points and Jill Loader third with 31 points.

There were some excellent scores in the Bank Holiday Monday Stableford Competition with Nicholas Fenn winning with 42 points, CliveLarge came second, also with a score of 42 points, but losing on count back while Richard Clist came third with 41 points.

Jane Clist won the Ladies Tuesday Stableford Competition with 37 points. Jane also won division 1, second in that division was Kathryn Salway with 36 points while Janet Howe came in third with 35 points.

Sue Corlett was the division 2 winner with 36 points while Ladies Captain Mary Beakes came second with 34 points and Sarah Payne came third with 33 points.
