IN THE Saturday Stableford Competition which was staged at Oake Manor Golf Club, Daniel White won the competition and division 1, scoring 43 points, Philip Coleman came second with 41 points while Isla Catto was third with 39 points.
Vincent Tydings won division 2 with 41 points while James Wilkinson was in second place with 38 points and Tim Gamlin was third with 36 points.
David Male won the Sunday Stableford Competition, scoring 42 points with Sam Hallett in second place with 41 points and Robin Trott third, also with 41 points.
On Tuesday the Ladies played a Stableford Competition from the men’s yellow tees. Amanda Mather was the winner with 41 points, while Jill Loader came second with 39 points and Isla Catto was third with 37 points.
The Seniors on Monday played a Stableford Competition from the ladies red tees which gave them a chance to play a shorter course for a change. Glyn Pearce won division 1 with 42 points with Stephen Wilcox in second place with 40 points and Trevor Cook came third on 37 points.
Edward Winter won division 2, scoring 42 points while Michael Sheppard was second with 39 points and Robert Sanders was third, also with 39 points.
On Tuesday the Ladies again played a Stableford Competition from the men’s yellow tees. The longer course did not seem to affect the scoring with Amanda Mathers winning division 1 with 43 points, with Angela Warnes in second place, also with 43 points, and Kathryn Salway, third with 41 points.
Gill Hadley won division 2 with an excellent score of 45 points, the best score of the day, while Sandra Lawrence was in second place with 43 points and Emma Fitzgerald was third with 41 points
