SHAUN Rigby won the John Stevens Cup in the Medal Competition at Oake Manor Golf Club on Saturday.

Shaun won the Cup and division 1with a superb score of nett 62, Dave Hill came second with nett 67 while Alexander Male was third, also nett 67. George Rollinson won division 2 with nett 62 but lost the cup on countback. Andrew Cleland was second with nett 64 and Liam Willy came third with nett 65.

The Seniors played for the Past Captains Trophy on Monday. Division 2 winner Phil Grourk won the trophy with 42 points. Second in division 2 was Colin Shepherd with 37 points while Kenneth Pitcher came third, also with 37 points.

Jeff Copp won division 1 with 40 points while Andy Curtis was second with 39 points and Michael Bright came third also with 39 points.

Angela Warnes won division 1 of the Ladies TuesdayMedal Competition, scoring nett 67, Ladies Captain Mary Beakes came second with nett 69 while Kate Foster was third also with nett 69. Judy Phripp won division 2 with nett 63, the best score of the day, Carolyn Excell was second with nett 66 while Sheila Grant came third with nett 68.

In the Wednesday Midweek Stableford, Stuart Coleman won division 1 with 39 points, Robin Trott came second, also with 39 points, while Owen Irish was third with 38 points. Charlie Wingfield won division 2 with 41 points, the top score of the day, Richard Beesley came second with 40 points and Martin Ayliffe was third with 39 points.

Jordan Reeves won the Thursday Stableford, scoring 43 points while Harry Storry was second with 42 points and William Chinn third on 39 points.

Noah Jones won the Friday Stableford with 39 points while his brother Theo Jones came second, also with 39 points, and Martin Ayliffe was third on 37 points.
