A TOTAL of 124 members played in teams of four for the Greenkeepers Revenge Trophy at Oake Manor Golf Club.

This is where the greenkeepers put additional hazards on the course for players to negotiate; for example, the players teed off the first hole standing on a mattress, on another hole old vehicle tyres were randomly placed on the green so players had to putt around them.

On another there was a toilet seat placed over the hole with a piece cut out so players could only putt to the hole from one direction; along with many other hazards on other greens.

The winning team with 83 points were James Sussex, Joe Lawer, Sam Briggs and Jack Grant. In second place with 81 points were Mark Woolliscroft, Mathew Durbin, Philip Coleman and Callum Foster while in third place were Martin Thorne, Charles Hardman, Gary Tillett and Andrew Cleland with 80 points.
