Enmore Ladies played two Wessex League matches this week, one on Monday at home against Yeovil and the other away at Minehead. Unfortunately, the weather called a halt to the match against Yeovil, which was halved.
Despite a threatening forecast, in the final Wessex match of the year at Minehead, the Enmore ladies rose to the occasion and fought hard to achieve a 10-6 victory.
Enmore Seniors welcomed their friends from Minehead on Tuesday. Mike Rossiter (who also won the nearest the pin award) and Wayne Hawley won their game one up, as did Nigel Wixon with Peter Scott. Captain Chris Willsteed, playing with Gareth Parsons, managed a half despite being four holes down with six to play, and Steve Darch and Liam Fisher also managed a half, as the match ended 3-3.
James Duddridge, with 25 points, was the winner of Week 21 of the Summer League. However, two players tied on 21 points, but following the countback, it was Martin Hill who just edged in front of Robin Coulson to claim second.
