ENMORE Park Golf Club members took part in the Lamb Cup Mixed on Sunday, which played as a mixed Greensomes competition and was well supported and highly contested.

Two teams headed the honours board at the end of the round on 42 points. However, following count back, the winners were Chris Hannam and Ed Ingram, just ahead of second Suzanne Boydell and Alan Wheal. Third place went to Judith Sperring and Alistair Wyatt, with 39 points, while Mel Millar and Barry Woodman came fourth with 37.

Suzanne Boydell was the winner of Saturday’s Club Stableford (Including The Paul Ekins Trophy - Unleash Your Drive Qualifier) with 42 points, two ahead of her nearest rival who was Shaun Kirby with 40, with Matt Nicholson third on 39.

Sarah Rendell with 37 points was the winner of the Ladies Edney Cup (Barlow qualifier) with 37 points, one ahead of second placed Paula Kilpatrick, with Judith Sperring third on 34.

Paula Kirkpatrick won the Ladies individual Stableford 9 holes with 18 points, four ahead of Hazel Percy who edged ahead of Carolyn Blackwood who was third on count back after both carded 14.

Matthew Nicholson with 20 points was the winner of Week 6 of the Summer League, one ahead of Rob Chilcottt who was second after count back put him in front of Chris Jones

Enmore Seniors have been in action in the past playing two games in which they enjoyed mixed results. In their home match against Exeter it was Enmore who came out as the convincing winners 4.5 - 1.5 , a magnificent result with Jeff Saunders winning Nearest the Pin.

The Seniors then entertained Bristol and Clifton who came out winners 4 to 2. Enmore Seniors’ winning pairs were Tim Smith with Pete Farnell and Chris Willsteed with Gordon Baxter, while Gary Thompson won nearest the pin.
