WATCHET Town will be looking to win only their second game of the season when they play away to Stockwood Wanderers in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League tomorrow (Sat).
Wanderers are also struggling near the bottom of the table but won 2-0 at Watchet just before Christmas.
“I’m optimistic we can come away with something,” said Watchet boss Nick Sully. However, Watchet go into the game eight points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Minehead face another blank Saturday before playing away to Sporting Weston on Saturday week, January 17. Sporting Weston are lying sixth in the table, and have games in hand on four of the teams above them. Minehead are eighth but have played more games than teams around them.
