WATCHET Town kick off the new season in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League with a tough away match against Nailsea United tomorrow (Sat).
Nick Sully, who will be taking charge of the side, said: “We will have some new faces in the team. However, we would welcome any new players who would like to play at our standard of football.”
Nailsea finished third in the division last season, just missing out on promotion, while Watchet just managed to avoid relegation.
Meanwhile, Minehead have a friendly at home to a Wellington XI tomorrow (Sat, 3p.m.) before they play their first match of the season in the first division of the county league - away to Winscombe tomorrow week (Aug 9).
Minehead will again be managed by Craig Carr whose side have already played several pre-season friendlies.
