MINEHEAD have a football friendly at home to neighbours Staplegrove this evening (Mon, 7.30p.m.).

The Seasiders were due to play Combe Martin at home in a warm-up game on Saturday, July 11, but it was cancelled because the opposition could not raise a side.

“I tried everything in a bid to arrange another game, but without any success,” said Minehead boss Lee Todd. “It is proving a difficult time of the year, what with the hot weather and players on holiday.”

Minehead play a Minehead Legends XI at home on Saturday, July 18 (3p.m.) and the following Tuesday play away to Ilfracombe Town.
