MINEHEAD will play title-chasing Combe St Nicholas twice in five days in the first division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League.
The seasiders, who won 2-1 at Bishops Sutton last time out, are due to play big-spending Combe away on Saturday, March 14, and again at home under lights next Wednesday (7.30p.m.).
"There is a reason why Combe have been beaten only once this season, " said Minehead manager Lee Todd. "They have a decent budget by all accounts.
"Burnham United went down 5-0 at home to Combe on Saturday - and they are second in the table.
"We know it's going to be a tough game on Saturday but we can only go out there and give it our best shot. Hopefully, we'll get a good crowd for Wednesday's game."
Combe go into Saturday’s game third in the table, eight points behind leaders Portishead Town Reserves but with seven matches in hand.
Minehead are eighth, but have played more games that some of the teams around them. They also need to pick up points to avoid being drag down into a relegation fight.
Three teams go down with Keynsham Town Reserves and Bishop Sutton almost certain to be relegated while one of six teams could join them.
Meanwhile, Watchet Town's goalkeeper Jack Harding will be available for the away match against Ashton & Backwell United in the Premier Division this Saturday after missing the 2-1 defeat at Congresbury.
Ashton won 3-0 at Watchet earlier this season and the seasiders' boss Nick Sully said: "They are a good side. They may not be the best footballing team in the division but they are powerful."
Ashton are lying third in the table but have played more games than teams around them. Watchet remain bottom and facing almost certain relegation.
