WATCHET Town and Minehead both have home matches in the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League tomorrow (Sat) as they look to bounce back after defeats in the KO Cup for Premier and lst Division teams last weekend.

Watchet play third in the table Wells City Reserves in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County League while Craig Carr’s Minehead will be looking to avoid conceding the season’s double in the first division to Burnham United who beat them 3-2 last month. Both games kick off at 3p.m.

Watchet will want to be competitive after their 9-0 loss to Clevedon United last weekend while Minehead will be chasing only their third league win of the season. Burnham are lying fifth in the table.

Nailsea United top the Premier Division with an unbeaten record after nine matches, having dropped only four points, while Portishead Town Reserves and Combe St Nicholas are joint leaders of the first division, having both only dropped two points from their opening five matches.
