MINEHEAD Barbarians Rugby Club find themselves without a senior game this weekend with both the lst XV and 2nd XVs having a 'free' Saturday.

Minehead lst XV are lying sixth in Counties Two Somerset, having won three matches and lost two.

Head coach Mick Orton said: "It would have helped the club going forward if we would have had games.

"But at the same time it helps some players to recoup."

Minehead lst XV are not back in action until next Saturday when they play at home to Yatton who have lost all five of their matches and sit on the bottom of the table.

The Babas have a 100 per cent home record this season and hammered Huish Tigers 56-0 last weekend. However, they have lost their opening two away league games quite decisively.

Minehead 2nd XV, who lost 51-0 away to Weston 2nd XV in Counties Four last Saturday, do not play again until Saturday, October 21, when they entertain Yatton 2nd XV.

Meanwhile, Wiveliscombe are without a first team fixture but the 2nds have a rearranged home game against Tor.
