MINEHEAD Barbarians put up a spirited fight before losing 38-14 away to Old Redcliffians in Counties Two Somerset yesterday (Sat).

It meant Wells, who won 52-17 away to Yatton, are now seventh with Minehead dropping to eighth.

It was not a good day at the office for the Minehead club whose second team went down 78-10 away to Counties Four Somerset South leaders Burnham. Minehead, however, remain seventh in the table.
