While all children and staff had been accounted for, the nursery had lost everything.
And as the Minehead nursery had experienced the devastation caused by a fire at its base at Alcombe Children’s Centre a few years ago, it felt it would like to do what it could to support the Grenfell nursery.
So it decided to invite children to a dress-up day to raise money for the nursery and also celebrate the bravery and heroism the emergency services, and £44.89 was raised.
