SIR — Could we please appeal to the youth leaders of the Watchet youth groups.

We are almost in the last stages of planning to unveil the town's memorial to the brave men from both World War One and World War Two, and we would very much like the young people of Watchet to take part in the ceremony.

A planning meeting is being held for the leaders of these groups at the Bell Inn on Wednesday February 5 at 6 pm.

If you are a leader of the sea scouts, cubs, air cadets, guides, brownies, rainbows or any other uniformed youth organisation, we would like to see you there.

The meeting will be chaired by our chairman Robert McDonald.

Please come along and be part of what will be a day to remember.
