Police are looking for the driver of a car with a damaged front.

A Yeovil woman in her 30s suffered whiplash injuries when in collision with a car whose driver reversed and drove off following impact.

The accident happened at the Podimore roundabout at 10.30am on Sunday, July 20th. The Yeovil woman was waiting at the roundabout when hit by a blue Ford Mondeo travelling in the same direction.

A police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for help to trace the other driver, who was described as a white man.

"The car was a dark blue L-registration Ford Mondeo and there was a small long-haired dog in the vehicle. The car would have had significant damage to the front after the collision."
