A DEVON man has been ordered to carry out unpaid activities supervised by the probation service for up to 20 days after breaching a court ruling that he should not contact a woman living in Wiveliscombe.
Taunton Deane Magistrates Court heard Nicholas Stutt, aged 36, of Victoria Road, Exmouth, first telephoned the woman and then the next day turned up at her home.
Prosecuting solicitor Aysha Nawaz said the two offences, which Stutt admitted, happened in June of this year, just six months after the non-molestation order had been imposed.
District Judge Angela Brereton also fined Stutt £200 and ordered him to pay £40 toward the costs of the prosecution.
Judge Brereton said the non-molestation order would continue until August 11 next year.
