SIR — Surely we don't need yet another supermarket in Williton?
Re the proposed development of the Gliddon shop to be built and a supermarket on land at the back of the site, this would lead to the closure of all the other shops in Williton and, like so many small towns in the States, it will be dead.
I would have thought most people would be happy with the little band of shops we already have, and if they close that means more people will be out of work.
Surely it would be better to build affordable homes on the area as the council has got to build so many in the area.
But I suppose the developer wouldn't get as much money as from a supermarket chain.
