A WILLITON man has been remanded in custody for a Taunton Crown Court trial accused of engaging in coercive and/or controlling behaviour of a woman with whom he was in a relationship, including spitting and urinating on her.

Oliver Milsom, aged 31, of The Croft, faced four charges when he appeared before Taunton magistrates on July 29.

Milsom, who did not enter any pleas, was also accused of strangling the woman, causing her actual bodily harm, and criminally damaging a car.

Magistrates heard the strangulation and actual bodily harm were alleged to have happened on July 24.

The coercive/controlling behaviour was alleged to have occurred between March 1 and July 27, and the car damage on July 18.

Milsom will appear in crown court on August 28.
