THE search is on for people who are passionate about Williton and the people who live there.
If you have ideas for improving the village environment or would you like to become involved in organising social events, Williton Parish Council wants to hear from you – it has two vacancies and is looking to co-opt new members.
The council meets on the first Monday of the month, with sub-committees on selected dates, dealing with issues which affect the village.
This include planning recommendations, organising contracts to keep the streets and verges clean and tidy, ensuring the smooth running of the Memorial Ground, and organising events such as the Christmas festival, annual fete and Easter egg hunt.
