THE Williton Annual Fete is “set to remain a calendar highlight” say organisers, after a weekend of successful entertainment.

Held on Saturday, July 5, the fete featured martial arts demonstrations, children’s races, and performances by the Brompton Regis Morris Dancers. The dog show was a reported “standout success” alongside the range of local stalls, tombolas, raffles, and games.

A spokesperson for Williton Parish Council said: “Organisers would like to express their gratitude to everyone who helped make the event possible.

“Whether it was those involved in planning, on-the-day volunteers, or attendees, the success of the fete was a result of everyone's hard work and dedication.

“With the continued enthusiasm of the community, Williton’s Annual Fete looks set to remain a highlight of the summer calendar for years to come.”
