SIR — I notice that Minehead Development Trust has placed a large banner at the old hospital saying "Working to secure this heritage building for the community".

There are, rather strangely, two pictures of Uncle Sam either end with his pointing finger. Surely, f whoever designed this banner had any knowledge of our 'heritage', it should be good old Lord Kitchener.
