The supporters of a commuter rail link to Taunton have carefully avoided the likely cost to the passenger.

At present, the fare from Blue Anchor to Watchet – two stations away– is £6.40 single. What is the likely cost of Minehead to Taunton for commuters? And would they pay?

If there is cash to plan this project, might I suggest some attention to the peeling roofs and paintwork on some carriages.
