We would like to extend a huge thank you to the residents and businesses of the town who generously allowed the Minehead Grand Prix to stage a two-day event in the Town Centre.

We understand the closure of parts of The Avenue/Parade, Blenheim Road, North Road and Summerland Road and the central car parks would always cause some disturbance and inconvenience, so your support, patience and tolerance is greatly appreciated.

The organisers worked hard to minimize the impact on you all and we will continue to learn from your positive comments and feedback.

For those of you who had the opportunity to witness the event, we hope you enjoyed the spectacle, enthusiasm and atmosphere generated in the town and that the liquid sunshine on Sunday afternoon didn’t dampen your spirits!
