I would like to say a huge thank you to Mark and Jackie Bale for introducing the use of foodbank collection boxes at this year’s Watchet Music Festival, and to all the festival-goers who donated their unused tins and packets to the Quantock Foodbank.

Mark and Jackie also donated a substantial number of items left over from catering, and we are very grateful to them and to those who attended the festival service on Sunday and contributed £115 - a very successful outcome for their initiative which will help local people who are in crisis.
