SIR — We would like to thank Stogursey and Otterhampton Parish Councils, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Stogursey Oral History Project and members of the Steart Neighbourhood Group for their time, advice and support during the past threee months of preparation and development of our bid to the Hinkley CIM fund. We were disappointed to learn from the report in the West Somerset Free Press of November 7 that the application had been unsuccessful. We will do all that we can to seek the investment required from other sources to produce ECHO – Portrait of a Peninsula and follow the ECHO portraits of Minehead, Watchet and Burnham captured in film and performance over the past four years.
