The speaker was chief executive officer Jackie Sopwith, who gave an inspirational talk to volunteer visitors about her plans for the charity and its many services in place for people with sight loss.
Jackie thanked volunteer visitors for all the work they do locally, saying that the charity could not continue without its many volunteers who work throughout the county in a number of different roles.
Somerset Sight is the only independent charity supporting people with sight loss in Somerset and it reaches its 100th anniversary in two years’ time.
Anyone interested in supporting someone with sight loss in their local area, or who knows someone in need of such support, should contact Claire Packwood on 01643 842972 or email [email protected].
