RESIDENTS in Stogursey have been asked for their thoughts on refurbishing the village’s multi-use games area (MUGA) behind the Victory Hall.
The hall management committee has carried out a public consultation ahead of deciding what work to commission.
A spokesperson said: “In recent years the MUGA has fallen into disrepair, and we are therefore looking to obtain funding to refurbish this facility.
“Our initial thoughts are to resurface it with an astro turf, replace the existing boards, and install new LED floodlighting.
“We hope this will encourage a wider range of activities, but we would love to hear from the community, as it is available to all.”
The spokesperson said without public feedback it would be difficult for the committee to apply for funding.
