Supporters of Porlock’s St Dubricius parish church have turned to crowdfunding to raise £3,000 to repair the building’s jubilee clock, originally paid for by public subscription nearly 125 years ago to celebrate Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee.

It is hoped the clock will be back in action in time for the present Queen’s platinum anniversary (70 years) in February next year. It finally stopped working in 2020 and needs extensive repair and maintenance.
