A BAKE-Off and cream tea afternoon in Wheddon Cross last Saturday (April 14) has raised £320 for Cancer Research.

“The TV show inspired us to do our bit and raise some money for cancer research,” said organiser Maria Adams.
“It was a fun afternoon, during which everyone had a chance to taste all the bakes and have a cream tea.
“The cream and jam were kindly donated by Roddas Cream and Tiptree Jam.”
