MARAUDING Vikings were given their marching orders when youngsters at Minehead Library got to grips with history.
Vanquishing Vikings, a story and craft event, gave children aged from seven to 11 the chance to learn more about the Norse warriors and explorers.
A total of 11 youngsters and their parents took part in last Saturday's session, which was part of Somerset Libraries Learning Festival.
The session of fun included making a longship and listening to stories.
