SIR — I am appealing to supporters of the Minehead and Exmoor Festival which takes place from July 25 to 31. 

During this week a full symphony orchestra of professional musicians comes together to play three different concerts in and around Minehead, including Dunster, Dulverton and the Regal Theatre. 

To keep the costs as low as possible, local people offer accommodation for the players on a bed and breakfast basis. 

We have a long standing list of regular hosts but this year many of our loyal hosts are unable to help so we are in the unhappy position of being seriously short of accommodation for our players.

If any readers in Minehead feel they can help out by hosting one or more of the orchestra members for all or part of the week, please contact me on 01643 702353. 

It would be useful to know what type of accommodation you can offer (double, twin, single) and whether you have animals (some players are allergic).

If you have heard the wonderful music produced by this amazing group of people you will know how important it is to find enough hosts for all of them.  I hope you can help.
