FRIENDS Louise Holland and Louise Lake felt the sharp end of a pair of clippers when they took part in a charity head shave to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
Louise H, of Watchet, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 and lost her locks when she had chemotherapy following a mastectomy.
Now fully recovered and with a full head of hair, she opted to go bald for a second time in aid of the cancer charity.
She enlisted the help of her best friend Louise L, who used to live in Watchet but now lives in Taunton – and the pair attracted quite a crowd as they had their heads shaved on The Esplanade in Watchet.

Road closures: four for Somerset West and Taunton drivers over the next fortnight“Without the support of my family and friends who have been great through all that has happened, I don’t know how I would have managed, said Louise H.
“But you have to be positive and that’s why I’m raising money so that more people can be saved and more research can be done.
“One day we will win the fight against cancer – every penny or pound people give will help.”
She is pictured on the left with Louise L both before and after the head shave.
