Business use flexibility sought as Minehead self-serve launderette owner retiresThe group, Dee’s Charity Knits, meets at That Little Craft Shop in Friday Street, has presented 23 Twiddle Muffs to the Minehead Dementia Action Alliance.
The woollen muffs have interesting bits and bobs attached and, as well as keeping hands warm, they provide visual, tactile and sensory stimulation to people with dementia.
That Little Craft Shop has now joined the Minehead Dementia Action Alliance.
Owner Clare Richards is very supportive of people with dementia and organises creative craft and art classes which may be suitable for people with memory loss and her class leaders have also raised funds.
