GETTING to the prom was almost as much of a challenge as deciding what to wear for youngsters at Danesfield Middle School.
The leavers of 2011 turned out in their finery for the annual celebration night.
But it was the types of transport they chose to arrive in that caused a stir.
A vintage bus and a spacehopper were among some of the more unusual modes of travel, while one group of girls - and a lone boy - arrived in the back of a trailer.

The school has been staging a leavers' prom for the last 11 years.
And organiser Mark Walker, who will take up a new job as headteacher of Swanmead Middle School in Ilminster in September, said the event followed its winning formula.
"We had a disco and food and everyone had a fantastic evening," he said.
"They've been a brilliant year group and it was great to give them a celebration send-off."
