Dulverton has launched a new website aimed at attracting visitors to the town following the upheaval caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Visit Dulverton Facebook and Instagram pages have already proved popular, and the website has been created to give further details and information about the town and its businesses.

The website suggests places to stay, eat and drink, and shop – and useful information and things to do.

A calendar features events planned for the year ahead – including celebrations for Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, the return of the popular Vintage Fair, the second Dulverton Fun Run and Canicross and – new for 2022 – the Dulverton Artisan Food, Drink and Crafts Festival and the Dulverton Literary Festival.

Initial feedback for the website has been favourable from local businesses, tourism organisations and visitors alike.

Paul Hardy, from Hardy Antiques in Dulverton, said: “The site looks fantastic. It’ll be a massive help to boosting trade in our lovely town.”

Beverley Brown, from Dorset, described it as a “wonderful, online, pocket-sized guide book to Dulverton that’s very easy to navigate.”
