AN informal social evening open to anyone concerned about the environment is being held in Minehead on Tuesday (July 11).

Green Drinks events take place across the UK and around the world, and the first local event is at the Kildare Lodge in Townsend Road, Minehead, starting at 7.30pm.

Whether from an environment group, working in a business or the public sector and involved with the environment, or simply an individual, people are welcome to drop in at any time to meet like-minded others and catch up on what’s going on locally or chat about wider matters.
