Following the bank holiday, highways maintenance teams moved into our area of Alcombe with an assortment of large lorries, vans, diggers, rollers and dumper trucks.

These guys in their orange overalls and helmets work on in all weather conditions. Their work-rate over three days was second to none, and they did an excellent job.

I feel praise should go to highways maintenance teams for the often thankless work they do on our behalf. I would be proud to work with them.
